The traffic signal controller is the means of changing the signal indications and consists of computer controls that operate selection and timing of traffic movements in accordance to pre-programmed sequences and detection. The proposed approach for implementing an ITCS system is focused on a detection process which control and manage the vehicle flow at the intersection in order to prevent congestion and reduce accidents, Control process and Signal process.
